Our take
The Tekela Elite v5 impressed me with its comfortable fit right out of the box. The Dynamic Touchtech upper is soft and molds to the foot, while the nylon outsole keeps weight down. The drawstring closure is a bit different—takes some getting used to—but it secures well. At $150, it's mid-range for a premium cleat. The cushioning is good, but I wish the ankle collar was higher for more support. Also, the plastic cleats are fine on firm ground, but I wouldn't use them on wet turf. A solid choice for players who value comfort.
