I tried the D width version of the 442 Elite Knit, and it fits true to size for regular-width feet. The synthetic upper is durable but lacks the stretch of a knit; it took a few wears to break in. On HG/AG, the plastic studs dig in well without feeling too aggressive. At $240, it's a premium boot, and you get a solid build quality. The low-top design is fine, but the lack of a knit upper might be a letdown for those seeking a soft touch. The Prop 65 warning is a bit worrying, but performance-wise, it does the job. I'd recommend it if you need a sturdy boot for mixed surfaces and have a standard width.
